Bananas are packed with vitamin A and can help fade dark spots and blemishes and smooth out rough skin. Bananas are high in vitamin B, which can help reduce dryness. Vitamin E also helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This potassium boosts your skin in an all-around treat not to mention it smells great!

To make this DIY Tropical Banana Face Mask: Mash a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste using a fork. Gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Or mix 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey (a natural acne remedy), and one medium banana.

To make this DIY nourishing face mask: Take one fully ripe fresh avocado and remove the skin and seed. Mash it up into creamy pulp in a bowl using a fork. Add 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir in the honey until it turns into a uniform paste. Apply to skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off the mixture with lukewarm water and pat dry your face with a soft towel.

To make this DIY calming face mask: Combine 1/2 cup hot water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and one small egg white.

Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Be careful not to clog your drains with chunks of oatmeal. Wash this mask off in the kitchen may be a good idea.

To make the DIY depuffing cucumber face mask: Place half a cucumber into a food processor. Blend the mixture until smooth. If you don’t have a food processor you can always mash up slices of cucumber with a fork. Transfer the cucumber pulp to a mixing bowl and add 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Mix well.

Apply a thin layer to your face. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water to remove.

Lemons contain AHAs and BHAs, two types of hydroxy acid that remove dead skin cells and help clear up blackheads, acne, and discoloration.

To make the blackheads removing face mask: Mix the fresh juice from one lemon (or about 1 tablespoon of store-bought pre-squeezed lemon juice) with 1/4 cup olive oil or sweet almond oil. Apply to your face. Enjoy the fresh smell. Wait 15 minutes and rinse the mask off with warm water.
