Sounds easy enough, I thought I’d give it a try to see what all the hype is about. I have dry skin and areas of hyperpigmentation on my face from sun damage. I wanted to see if the product would lessen my darker spots and make my skin look like new. 

It didn’t take much of the solution to cover my face and neck. Looking in the mirror, I felt like I was starring in a low-budget horror film. The package says you can leave the Peeling Solution on your face for up to ten minutes. After I applied it I sat on my bed and watched a few YouTube videos. 

A few minutes passed and my skin started to tingle. After 5 minutes, it was very tingly and even a bit itchy. I decided to take the Peeling Solution mask off after letting it sit for eight minutes. It came off easily with a little warm water. I couldn’t believe the results. My skin really did look fresh and new!

I have been using this product twice a week for about a month now. The texture of my skin has never been better and I get lots of compliments. My Mom, who is 61, and has beautiful skin, also swears by this stuff. Don’t let the price fool you – this is serious skincare.

I don’t see any expiration date on the bottle? How do I know if it is still effective?

The Peeling Solution should be used within one year after opening.

The color of the product is scarlet red, but when I got my bottle, it was almost a dark purple. Is this real?

The color of the product may slightly vary due to the color of the Tasmanian Pepperberry used in that formulation. But it is definitely real.

Why can’t I mix it with water? The instructions say not to use on wet skin, why?

This answer is on a more scientific level. The ingredients are acids in high concentrations. When mixing an acid with water, it is always better to add any water to the acid, not the other way around. Adding acid to water starts a chemical reaction that causes the acids to release heat…in other words, it will burn your skin. Follow the directions and apply to clean DRY skin.

Is the Ordinary Peeling Solution supposed to burn? 

This one is tricky. The Ordinary Peeling solution does tingle or sting a little bit but it is not supposed to burn. The main reason why users experience a chemical burn while using this product is because they mixed it with water or they applied it to their face when it was wet. If the Ordinary Peeling Solution is burning remove the mask immediately or you could get a chemical burn.
